Nothing But Sky by Amy Trueblood book coverGrace feels the most alive when she is dangling 500 feet above the ground. She is a wing walker, someone who performs stunts on the wings of planes, and her dream is to attend (and win) the 1922 World Aviation Exposition.

Competition is fierce, and it’s even tougher when you are a girl. But the threats and taunts she receives just push Grace to work harder, and come up with even more daring stunts to perform at the expo.

“I loved this book! A story about a girl who lost everything and her journey through trusting others and allowing them into her life. She is girl who knows exactly what she wants and when things don’t pan out the way she expected, she is force to take a look at what she really wants in life. You can see the growth in the Grace from the beginning to the end of the book; In the way she battles and overcomes her past, deals with situations in the present, and opens herself to options in the future.

I didn’t want the book to end! I thoroughly enjoyed this book!”
