Fanart: Artworks created by fans of a work of fiction (books, comics, movies, television, video games, etc.) and derived from a character or other aspect of that work.
Create artwork in your favourite artistic medium featuring the characters or the fandom you love.
Rules: ~ Must be able to pick up prize in person from the Grande Prairie Public Library. Winner announced at LibriCon Closing Ceremony on October 14. ~ Must create the artwork during the dates the contest is open.
Please do not sign your name anywhere visible on your artwork.
One fanart per artist.
Fanart can be displayed online on your personal accounts. Please tag #gpplibricon.

In person, please bring your artwork to the information desk and fill out one of our ballots. For displaying purposes, we won’t accept artwork larger than 17 inches in width, length, or height.
Our fanart contest will be judged by artists who love fanart, artistic expression, and fandoms.
Artwork will be displayed in the library until after LibriCon. Artists can pick up their work after 4:00pm on October 14, and from October 16 - 20 at the Information Desk.

To enter: Email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “LibriCon 2017 fanfic entry” before midnight on July 1st. Save the document as your last name + the title of your fic. We will only accept .doc, .docx, or .pdf files.
