On Tuesday, May 21 GPPL is launching a new print solution designed to make printing from your own devices easier. As a result, access to our computers is now only through Library Card or Guest Pass. Guest Passes are available to anyone needing to use a computer at our Customer Services Desk & Ask Desks.
Keep your Library Card or Guest Pass handy. It'll be the code you'll use to release print jobs on our new self serve kiosks.
Upgrades to our printing service include:
- You can now print double-sided in both black & white and colour on letter and legal sized paper.
- You can print directly from your laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
- Options for printing include from email, a special website portal, or an app. See the options here.
- Print jobs can be paid for and released through our self-serve print kiosks using coins, bills, debit/credit, Apple Pay & Google Pay.
- Our photocopier/scanning/faxing service can now provide a QR code so you can download your file on your Smartphone, text translations and text-to-audio services, and basic photo restoration.
This user friendly technology allows you to print from home or in the Library. Your print jobs are held under your Library Card or Guest Name for 24 hours, and can be released at the kiosk.
