Borrowing from other libraries is available if the title doesn’t exist in our TRAC catalogue. Make sure to check whether an item is available before requesting it from outside of the system. These requests are called InterLibrary Loans (ILLs).
For questions, requests, and managing your InterLibrary Loan, please contact our Interlibrary Loans Department at 780-357-7468 or email@example.com.
Try searching libraries across Alberta through Relais, the province’s interlibrary loan solution system, brought to you by the Public Libraries Services Branch (PLSB). You can request items directly from other Alberta libraries using this link here.
Still can't find what you're looking for? Fill out our ILL Request Form and we’ll do our best to find your items at a Canadian library.
Please let library staff know if you would like to cancel your ILL Request.
The loan period is set by the lending library. Most libraries will lend their items for 3 weeks.
Materials must be returned with the ILL Bookband/Barcode card attached to the item.
Renewals are not always available for interlibrary loan materials as the loan period is determined by the lending library.
Charges for lost or damaged items are decided by the lending library and may be quite substantial. These charges are solely the responsibility of the customer; GPPL staff cannot waive or reduce these fees.
